UNIT 5 REERENDUM
On December 13, the
Referendum Study committee presented its report to the general membership on the
study it has been conducting in conjunction with the Unit 5 Referendum to be voted upon on February 5, 2007. The voters will vote on a $96.7 million construction plan and on the associated tax rate increase for operating expenses. The membership came to a consensus that this referendum should be supported by our local group and plans are being made for activities to do this.
